Most Incident Command System roles are open to Auxiliarists who complete and maintain the qualifications for the position. However, not all Sectors have requirements to have Auxiliarists fill those positions. Please see the below listing of positions, the current Sector requests to have them filled, and the requirements to become qualified. If you are interested in pursuing qualification, please submit your interest via your COLM to your Sector’s Auxiliary Sector Coordinator. Please ensure that your Sector’s ADSO-EM(IM) Branch Chief is also tracking.
There are additional USCG ICS Positions that have requirements that are not authorized for Auxiliarists including Intelligence / Investigation Section Chief (ISC), Investigative Operations Group Supervisor (IOGS), Intelligence Group Supervisor (IGS), Investigative Support Group Supervisor (ISGS), Weapons Support Unit Leader (WEPS), Supply Unit Leader (SPUL), and Procurement Unit Leader (PROC). They are not listed below.
